If so, we want you on our team. Family Outreach Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our Outpatient Program as a Therapist in a full-time, 40-hour benefitted position. We are especially interested in candidates with diverse backgrounds and experience working with marginalized and underserved communities who are committed to partnering with us in reshaping family life.

This Therapist will provide clinical services to individuals and families presenting with a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns, including participation in Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) group. This role requires a collaborative, trauma-informed approach and a strong commitment to client-centered care across both individual and group treatment settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and compile relevant client information to complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments

  • Diagnose using DSM-5 criteria, including co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Complete discharge and termination summaries

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy services, including IOP groups focused on substance use treatment

  • Facilitate or co-facilitate substance use treatment groups, incorporating evidence-based practices

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Participate in weekly to biweekly supervision with the Outpatient Supervisor for case consultation and professional development

  • Support clients in accessing additional services (advocacy role), including medical, vocational, financial, and recovery supports

  • Adhere to all regulations regarding confidentiality, professional ethics, and mental health standards

  • Maintain compliance with all professional licenses and certifications

JOB TYPE: Full Time

Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or related field. Must also be a Certified Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (CAADC) or have submitted a plan for obtaining a CAADC.

Pay: $55,000 per year (with opportunity to make more with various incentives)
