The FEP program represents an expansion of the substance abuse services available in Kent County. Comprehensive family-focused substance abuse services are offered which include: assessments, individual and family treatment planning, recovery coaching and case management services. Services are provided to female head of households and are available to all members of the family and/or household residents.
Reduce the cycle of substance use within families by treating the whole family and not just the individual identified as the user/abuser.
Any woman living in Kent County who has school-aged children under 18 in her care and is willing to seek treatment for substance use issues. Services are also available to her spouse or partner and to her children, upon request.
Pregnant women, women with children, and those involved with child welfare are a priority for treatment.
