Foster Care

Dear Friend,

Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster parent. There are many children in our community who are waiting to be placed in a loving home. These children have been removed from their parents or care givers for reasons such as physical or sexual abuse, neglect, abandonment or emotional mistreatment. When children are removed from their homes, it is important that they be able to stay in their communities so that they can maintain a sense of identity and belonging.

This is where you can help. Family Outreach Center is launching a foster care program and we are looking for persons in our community who are willing to provide stable, loving homes for children in need. Our agency has a strong history of providing services to troubled children and their families, and in providing support for diverse families who reside in Kent County.

Feel free to contact us at your convenience for more information or to ask questions. We look forward to having you as a part of our team.

Sincerely,
