Amachi Mentor Training and Support ServicesAmachi hosts trainings for mentors to engage in successful and positive relationships with their mentee. The trainings are composed of teachings to equip the mentors with the necessary mind set and skills to connect with and guide a child of an incarcerated parent. Trainings are held four times a year. Objective: To equip and stregthen the mentor to engage in a healthy successful relationship with their mentee. Eligibilty: All interested parties over the age of 18. Funding: Funding is provided by the Heart of West Michigan United Way and U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services.
