This is a series of three trainings dividing the DSM-5 into sections. Participants will learn about changes to the DSM criteria, gain a greater understanding of diagnostic criteria, identify how this may impact practice, and will have an opportunity to practice skills related to diagnosing.
Session 1: Neurodevelopmental disorders, Schizophrenia Spectrum & other Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar & Related Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Somatic Symptom & Related Disorders, Feeding & Eating Disorders, and Elimination Disorders.
Friday July 31st registration 8 am-8:30, Training 8:30-11:40.
Session 2: Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive & Related Disorders, Trauma & Stressor- Related Disorders, Dissociative Disorders, and Substance-Related & Addictive Disorders.
Friday August 28 registration 8 am-8:30, Training 8:30-11:40.
Session 3: Sleep-Wake Disorders, Sexual Dysfunctions, Gender Dysphoria, Disruptive, Impulse-control, and Conduct Disorders, Neurocognitive Disorders, Personality Disorders, Paraphilic Disorders, Other Mental Disorders, Medication-Induced Movement Disorders & Other Adverse Effects of Medication, Other Conditions that may be a focus of clinical attention.
Thursday September 10 registration 8 am-8:30, Training 8:30-11:40.
